We are now happy to offer restored vintage lighting and original vintage lighting when we are able to locate quality lights and lamps for your consideration. In this section you will find quality vintage brass lamps and Art Deco vintage lighting fixtures that have been restored in our Lancaster County Pa. shop. Each restored light that we sell has been taken apart; the old finish has been removed along with the old outdated wiring. The brass is then cleaned, polished to a high shine, and coated with a clear top quality professional lacquer. The vintage lights or lamps are then wired using new sockets that come as close as possible to the old original ones and the wiring itself is replaced. The lights are then reassembled completing the restoration processes. The original vintage lights are all original with the exception of the old wiring and old sockets have been replaced for safety reasons, the finish will be left "as is" for those that prefer it.
We will make every attempt to date the vintage light as close as we can to give you an idea when the light or lamp was used in our lighting history. Since many of these vintage lights were made using brass and non- brass parts, we will make sure that when listing lighting that used non- brass parts will inform you of the metal used to make light. Most Art Deco lighting was made of either cast iron or of a metal alloy known as: white metal, pot metal, or die cast metal. As with any of our products if you have any questions about our vintage lamps and vintage lighting please contact us at jkwbrass@yahoo.com
